Get to Know Maria...

Maria was born October 23^rd, 1958 in a little town inside of Calabria, Italy. She moved to Canada in 1986. From there started working at a little shop on the Danforth where she made wedding favors. By the age of 15, she was trusted to run the store on her own when necessary. She learned Greek on the job, and English while in school. By the age of 15 she fluently spoke English, Greek and Italian.

She later attended Seneca College where she learned business administration. From there she began her journey as a stay at home mom, raising her three daughters. One day she decided that she wanted to get back into the work force and begin her career in property services. But that wasn’t enough for Maria, because she loves to learn! So, while working by day, she began attending classes by night. She took a leap of faith to where she is now as a Real Estate Broker where she found her passion through helping others. A people person who loves to help any way she can, Maria’s hobbies include cooking, painting, photography, long drives in the country, seeing her family and playing with her grandkids. She loves to play therapist for her loved ones, as she enjoys listening to what others have to say. She loves to put herself in other people’s shoes because Maria is a problem solver!

One thing Maria wants to remind you from one friend to another, is to not sweat the small stuff. Challenges are opportunities to grow. Life is about overcoming stumbles in the road.
